Client Portal User Instructions
The Client Portal uses proprietary software to allow for exchange of information in an encrypted manner even if not using https. We will assist the agency in setup of the web server and installation of certificates to run in https which we recommend.
To Login
- Open the link to the client portal by clicking or typing into your browser. You can see this on our web page for EDI Concepts. Find the Client Portal Link.
- Login (Even if you have never logged in before you may create a login on the fly)
- You must have contact information on file with the agency that includes First and Last Name and an email address and/or a mobile phone number in order to receive a code.
- First time logging in the user will establish their password other wise just enter your password and receive your verification code.
Navigation (after login)
- IF you are a contact on multiple accounts you will be presented with a list of your accounts. Pick an account and you will then land on the Dashboard.
- From the Dashboard the user may download Auto ID Insurance Cards if you have an active Auto Policy with the Agency.
- For other functions, go to the Menu list in the upper left hand corner and select the screen to which you wish to navigate.
Menu Options
Chat
- Not yet fully functional.
Download/Upload Files
- Select 1 or files by checking in the Check Box on the left side of the list, click the Download button and download 1 or more files.
- To upload click the Upload button and drag n drop the file(s) you wish to upload.
Pay My Bill
- Not yet functional. We need to finish the approval process with the Processing Company and then we will add a list of Invoices from which the Client may pick to make a CC Payment or ACH payment. Payment must be for oldest invoice first.
Policies List
- View active policies
- More functionality planned in the future
Certificates
- Add a Certificate Holder to a Certificate of Liability Insurance the Agency may publish for the account of the Client Contact.
Select Account
- Only applicable for Agency Contacts listed on multiple accounts. Agency Client may have both commercial and personal insurance with Agency.
- Select a different account if items needed are on that Agency Account.
Change Password
- Change the logged in user’s password.
Contact
- Contact information for the Agency
Log Off
- Log off closing the connection. It is best to log off when finished for security reasons however the system will time out the user and disconnect them from the Client Portal after 5 minutes of inactivity.
