What is included in the conversion from Doris to Newton by Agency Systems? If it is not listed it is not converted!

- Name, DBA, Address, City State Zip, Phones
- NOTE: Contact phone numbers in DORIS do not have an exact type such as work or fax, but are entered by the user. While we have procedures in place to address this it is possible the phones numbers may not be in the correct location. It is important for you and your staff to review these items in the trial conversion.

- Basic policy information is common to all policies including effective/expiration dates, policy number, producer, class, transaction
- NOTE: Duplicate policy numbers are not allowed in Newton. Common quote numbers like TBA, Pending, TBD, etc. are changed to add a unique number to the existing number.
- Premium is populated in the Estimated Annualized Premium field in Newton.
- NOTE: This number does not hit the general ledger
- Data will be converted going back 5 years
- Basic policy information is common to all policies including effective/expiration dates, policy number, producer, class, transaction
- Download Risk
- If you download policy information we will convert this from your archives.
- 2 years of data is normally available in most systems
- NOTE: This information is often missing data which we try to rebuild but the process is not always successful.
- Client Notes
- These will appear in the Newton Basic Tab Client Notes
- NOTE: The notes in DORIS do not have a date stamp in the data and are therefore all dated with the time of the conversion.
- These will appear in the Newton Basic Tab Client Notes
- Policy Notes
- These appear in the Newton Basic Tab Activity.
- Diary
- We convert Customer and Policy Diary items into a Newton Suspense Item. We do not convert any other diary items.
- Holders
- Convert the Additional Interest holders into the global profile table in Newton making these items available to attach to policies or for filling certificates.
- NOTE: These items are not linked to the policy but available for attachment to the policy as needed by the user.

- Attachments
- We convert Customer and Policy attachments. No other attachments are converted.
- IF attachment files or blobs are encrypted they must be decrypted by the vendor or cannot be converted.
